Shejil joined erstwhile KCL in Oct 2006 as Head of the Quality Assurance function. He has taken on additional responsibilities since his joining and is now Head of all the Technical aspects and operations of the business.

Shejil is a Post Graduate (MSc) in Organic Chemistry with an excellent track record of over 15 years of progressively increasing responsibilities and experience in various functions like Research & Development, Quality Control, Production and Quality Assurance. He is a certified Lead Assessor for ISO 9001 from NQA, UK. He has successfully completed implementation of Quality Systems in three different Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing locations and was also responsible for securing ISO 9001 certifications for these units. He is also the lead Manager in the successful implementation of the ERP programme in SPL.
